The 2017 Faiveley Corton 'Clos des Cortons' is a powerful, muscular Grand Cru from a historic monopole. It displays a deep ruby color with purple reflections, offering a complex nose of black cherry, spice, and earthy underbrush. On the palate, it is rich and concentrated, with fine tannins and a persistent, mineral-driven finish that promises excellent aging potential. 【 Rare Monopole Grand Cru 】
Pair this with game meats, seared foie gras, or rich dishes like duck confit and aged cheeses like Cîteaux or Reblochon.
An exceptional choice for a formal dinner or a serious collector's tasting event.

It was founded in 1825 in the village of Nuits-Saint-Georges under Joseph Faiveley. Today, the house is run by seventh-generation Eve and Erwan Faiveley. Currently, Faiveley has 10 hectares (25 acres) of grand cru vineyards out of a total of 115 hectares (285 acres).

How should I prepare this 2017 Grand Cru for serving?
This 2017 vintage is entering its prime. We recommend decanting it for about an hour to allow the complex aromas to fully express themselves. While not strictly necessary for a 2017, using a high-quality opener is always recommended for premium wines.
