Disgorged in 01/24
The 2011 Champagne vintage was generally considered poor and extremely difficult, marked by an unseasonably warm and dry spring. Despite these challenges, André Beaufort, a pioneer of organic and biodynamic viticulture since 1971, crafted their Ambonnay Grand Cru Brut Millésime 2011, which has received a critic review of 92/100. 【Pioneer of organic and biodynamic viticulture since 1971】.
This Champagne offers complex aromas of white flowers, brioche, cardamom, apple tart, and nutmeg on the nose, complemented by notes of roasted chestnuts, cinnamon, and honeysuckle. On the palate, it is creamy and dry, with a very fine bubble and a long, herbal aftertaste. Its style is described as Sparkling - Complex and Traditional.
For food pairings, this Champagne is an excellent match for shellfish, crab, and lobster.
Given its complexity and traditional style, this Champagne is ideal for special occasions, intimate gatherings, or as an aperitif to elevate any fine dining experience. It also makes a thoughtful gift for Champagne connoisseurs.
