The 2020 vintage, though warm and early, was expertly managed with precise irrigation, resulting in a wine of remarkable balance and complexity. This blend of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Malbec, 15% Carmenere, and 7% Petit Verdot was aged for 22 months in barrique (78% new) and large Stockinger barrels.
It presents a deep garnet-red color with violet hues. The nose is complex, savory, and spicy, revealing notes of tobacco, salted plums, olives, black cherries, cassis, and a hint of white pepper. The palate is full-bodied with juicy fruit, elegant fine-grained tannins, and a silky sensation, offering fresh red fruits like cherries and raspberries, violets, dill, rosemary, and sweet spices. This wine boasts intensity, complexity, energy, and depth, with a structure and acidity that promise excellent aging potential.
