🏰 The 2017 white Burgundy vintage was a consistent and delicious year, with wines showing good quality, flavor, concentration, and acidity. Anne Boisson's Meursault Les Chevalieres 2017 is a 【vibrant and terroir-expressive white Burgundy, reflecting the classic characters of Meursault with clarity】. This vintage is noted for its layered and melting flavors, often with citrus-agrume notes, and excellent energy.
🍴 Chinese Cantonese food pairing: This elegant Meursault would be superb with steamed crab with ginger and vinegar, pan-fried prawns with garlic butter, or a rich chicken and abalone soup. For Western cuisine, consider roasted chicken with herbs, creamy seafood pasta, or mature goat cheese.
🥂 fit for event: An excellent choice for a sophisticated lunch, a special seafood dinner, or a gathering where a high-quality, expressive white wine is desired. Serve chilled, around 10-12°C, to highlight its freshness and complexity.
BACKGROUND
Domaine Pierre Boisson/Anne Boisson is a family winery. The winery is run by father Bernard (retired in 2016), son Pierre and daughter Anne. Although it is the same winery, the wines produced by the three people will be labeled separately. on their respective names. They jointly own 8.5 hectares of land around the Cote de Beaune, and the vineyard's terroir is wet stone and flint, giving the grapes more minerality.
