Amiot Servelle, Chambolle Musigny Les Amoureuses 1er Cru, 2018
🏰 Amiot Servelle, a family-run domaine in Chambolle-Musigny, is now led by the dynamic duo Prune and Antoine Amiot, who are continuing the legacy with a focus on precise, minimalist cellar work and a deep commitment to organic and biodynamic practices, certified since 2008 and converting to biodynamic in 2018. The 2018 vintage marked a significant transition for the domaine, with the new generation taking the reins, and it was a year where the wines truly excelled, showcasing a consistent style of finesse, lightness, elegant tannins, and a natural concentration of fruit with earthy minerality. This Chambolle Musigny Les Amoureuses 1er Cru is celebrated as a masterpiece of finesse and complexity, presenting a ruby or cherry-like hue. Its seductive aromas often begin with raspberry or kirsch, evolving into notes of truffle or mushroom, and finishing with a hint of humus, always maintaining an elegant and reserved character. The palate is extremely elegant and beautifully structured, with soft, silky tannins that seamlessly integrate with the flavors, leaving an ethereal impression of supreme refinement.
🍴 For food pairings, this exquisite wine shines with delicately prepared dishes such as duck cooked with cherries (Canard aux cerises) or beef with morels (Boeuf aux morilles). It also complements ripe, but not overly strong, cheeses. Consider regional French specialties like pheasant terrine or Chartres pâté.
🥂 This wine is perfect for special occasions and intimate dinners, offering an experience of profound elegance and complexity. It's an ideal choice for collectors looking to cellar a fine Burgundy, as it benefits from at least six years from vintage and can age for up to 15 years. 【Masterpiece of finesse and complexity from a prestigious Premier Cru site】
