【One of Guigal's most emblematic "La La" wines, the 1992 La Mouline, despite being from a challenging vintage, turned out exceptionally strong, offering a voluptuous, silky texture and intense aromas.】 The Côte-Rôtie "La Mouline" is a flagship wine from the Guigal domain, a blend of Syrah with approximately 10% Viognier. Although 1992 was a lackluster vintage for the Northern Rhône with rot issues, Guigal's single vineyard wines, including La Mouline, were exceptional. It was aged for 42 months in new oak. The wine presents a ruby red color with red vermillion tints. The nose offers intensely aromatic small red fruits, blackberry, and floral violet aromas, powerful yet refined. The palate is supple, balancing finesse with an explosive richness, featuring notes of black olives, cassis, toast, ripe plum, coffee, cinnamon, spice, bacon, spice, dried mushrooms, and fresh sweet red fruits, all with a velvety texture.

🥂 fit for event suggestion IN ENGLISH
A truly special occasion wine, ideal for celebrating a significant anniversary, or a deep dive into aged Northern Rhône Syrah with fellow enthusiasts.
Serving: As a mature 1992 vintage, this wine should be served at around 15.5 degrees Celsius (60 degrees Fahrenheit). While younger vintages might need 3-4 hours of decanting, older wines like this may require very little, just enough to remove any potential sediment. Always handle with care, being mindful of the condition of the cork and capsule.
