FEATURES
🏰 The 2023 vintage for Domaine Bart's Marsannay Les Longeroies is noted for its balanced maturity, where freshness and concentration harmoniously intertwine. This Pinot Noir from the chalky soils of Marsannay reveals a vibrant character. 【 Lively and precise, combining silkiness and minerality 】
In the glass, expect a bright, clear light ruby red hue. The nose offers delicate aromas of red berries like cherry and raspberry, complemented by floral hints and a subtle spicy note. Some critics also detect black cherry, morello cherry, violet, liquorice, and a mineral touch reminiscent of damp chalk. On the palate, it's fresh and balanced, with silky tannins and a pleasant liveliness that brings finesse and length. A silky attack, lively acidity, and precise tannins are carried by a saline minerality that stretches into a long, taut finish.
🍴 This elegant Marsannay is a fantastic match for a range of dishes. Consider roasted veal chop with herbs, sautéed Paris mushrooms, or a creamy Époisses cheese. It also pairs beautifully with duck breast, various red meats, game, and aged cheeses. For a more traditional pairing, a classic beef bourguignon or roast lamb would be delightful.
🥂 Ideal for a relaxed gathering with friends, a family dinner, or a casual yet refined meal. Its approachable charm and versatility make it suitable for a wide array of social occasions, from a weekend barbecue to a cozy evening in.
