Red
750ml
Label : Good Label
Level : Neck Level
Capsule : Good Capsule
🏰The 2012 Arnoux-Lachaux Nuits St. Georges Clos de Corvees Pagets is a 【powerful and structured red Burgundy, still very fruity with evolving complexity】. The 2012 vintage for Nuits-Saint-Georges is noted for its fruit-forward character, combining wild berries, black cherries, and hints of spice and licorice, with slight notes of evolution adding complexity on a leathery finish. Expect an intense nose with aromas of sour cherry and subtle toasted notes. The palate reveals power and structure, with aromas of undergrowth and red fruit, and a fine minerality.
🍴 This robust Nuits-Saint-Georges pairs beautifully with characterful dishes that can stand up to its aromatic richness. It's excellent with red meats in sauce, roasted leg of mutton, or small game with prunes. Consider marinated or roasted game, strong grilled or roasted red meats, and medium-flavored cheeses. For a more powerful pairing, try game in hunter's sauce, rare prime rib, duck breast, or even Peking Duck.
🥂 Ideal for a celebratory dinner, a special occasion with a hearty meal, or a tasting session to appreciate a well-aged, complex Burgundy. This wine is showing beautifully now but has the structure to continue evolving for several more years. Serve at 16-18°C (60-64°F) to allow its full aromatic profile to emerge.
