🏰 The 2010 vintage in Burgundy was highly regarded, producing wines with excellent structure, freshness, and aging potential. Castagnier's Clos Vougeot Grand Cru 2010, from this esteemed appellation, is known for its 【solid tannic structure and balanced acidity, offering a rich and complex aromatic profile】. Expect notes of red and black fruits (cherry, raspberry, blackberry) combined with floral hints of violet and rose.
🍴 This powerful red Burgundy is an ideal match for finely prepared red meats, all types of game, stews, and marinated red meats. Consider duck breast with red fruit sauce, beef Wellington, or wild mushroom risotto. For cheeses, it enhances aged varieties such as Époisses or Brillat-Savarin.
🥂 A superb choice for a significant dinner or a special occasion, this wine has excellent aging potential and can be enjoyed from 8 to 10 years, reaching its peak maturity after 15 to 25 years. Serve between 16-17°C (60-62°F).
